My Story

Ok, here's my story...

It's so lovely to have you here! My name is Kara, the founder and head designer behind James + Maee. I currently reside in Washington with my husband Jeramee, our two kids, Kohlby James and Aaliyah Maee, and our two dogs (basically our other kids), Berkley and Sailor.

My inspiration for James + Maee came from none other than my kids. They are the reason for everything that I do. I want my children to see their momma creating and accomplishing my dreams and goals. I always want my children to feel that they can do anything. If you put your mind and effort into everything you do, you are destined for success.

My background for the last twenty years has been as a stylist. I have always had a love for design and fashion. Creating a clothing line (something I have dreamt of for years) was the next step I needed to fuel my creative passion. I hope you follow along on this journey with me. Thanks for stopping by!
